Olive Oil | 1 Table Spoon (fish) +/- 5 (For Frying) |
Mushrooms | (5 pieces) As much as you want |
Cauliflower | (10 pieces) As much as you want |
Paprika | (1/2 piece) As much as you want |
Aardappel | (3 pieces) As much as you want |
Turmeric | 1 Table Spoon |
Oregano | 1 Table Spoon |
Cumin | 1 Table Spoon |
Chilli Flakes | 1 Table Spoon |
Lemon | 1 Table Spoon |
Fish Stock Block | 1 Fish Stock Block |
Salt | 1 Tea Spoon |

How to make it - Step by Step

Preperation: clean the fish
- Clean the inside of your fish
- You don't have to cut the head and fins
- Remove the Gills of the fish
Seasoning
Rub every seasoning on each outside of the fish and on each inside of the fish. You can use your hands to become one with the fish or use a spoon or any other kitchen utensil to be fancy.
- Turmeric
- Oregano
- Cumin
- Chilli Flakes
- Fish Stock Block
- Salt
Frying and Heating
- Put the Olive Oil in the pan
- Put the fish from tail to head in its whole form in the pan
- Fry each side of the fish until it is done (read tip)
- In my Youtube video you can see me adding vegetables and potatoes on each side of the fish
(season only the vegetables and potatoes in the pan) - When each side of the fish is fried enough, you can lay the fish on top of the vegetables and potatoes and close the lid of the pan.
- You are now steaming the fish well done in its own heat and in the meantime steaming the fish vegetables and potatoes till its done
- Within 5 minutes of steaming the fish you can remove it from the pan.
Serve
- Always double check if your fish is done before serving it
- Serve your fish from tail to head on a plate
- Add the vegetables and potatoes on each side of the fish
TIP:
- a sign that a side of the fish is done frying is that the eyes of the fish become white. That may be 5 minutes on each side. Always double check if your fish meat is done.
