Step-by-Step
Preperation
- Take a bowl and soak the wished amount of Raisins for a minimum of 30 minutes to make them softer and juicier
Bake the vermicelli
- Take a pan and melt some butter in it
- Pour the wished amount of Vermicelli to bake in the pan
- Stir the vermicelli regularly (don't let it burn)
- When the vermicelli has a equally gold brown color the vermicelli is roasted enough
Take me to the cooking!
- Take another pan
- Add some butter to melt
- Add the nuts you love in your dessert (pistache, almonds)
- Add some cloves
- After baking the nuts and cloves a bit, Add the milk to the pan
- Add the baked /roasted vermicelli to the mixture in the pan
- Add some vanilla essence
- Put the lid on the pan and let everything cook
Serving the dish
- After your vermicelli is thick in the pan (because the milk is one with the vermicelli)
- You can scoop your vermicelli out of the pan in a bowl
- Add some milk in the bowl, till your scoop is half in the milk
- Garnish the top with some cut pistache and almonds
Tip:
1. You can soak raisins with hot water for approx 15 minutes. If you use room temperature water it can be soaked for a minimum of 30 minutes or a whole night in the refrigerator.
2. Don't add to much vanilla essence (just a bit) otherwise it will make your dessert bitter.
