Sare Jahan Se Accha

Ram Ram, Assalamu alaikum

Welcome to Sare Jahan Se Accha on Phoewa.nl
One mind, many tabs open.

This is my little corner of the internet where I share everything I've learned (and keep learning) about Sanatan Dharma, Islam and other way's of spiritual living.
From the verses of Hanuman Chalisa and stories of the Ramayan and Mahabharat, to the powerful suras and quls of the Qur'an, and all the beautiful stories and rituals in between. Each topic is here for you to dive into at your own pace. You can choose what speaks to you and explore freely. I hope these writings spark the same curiosity and connection in you that they have in me.

Sare Jahan Se Accha

Sare Jahan Se Accha, formally known as "Tarãnah-e-Hindi", is a ghazal written by Muhammad Iqbal and published around 16 August 1904 in Hindustan (India). It means 'The best in the whole world.." Mister Iqbal wrote this song as an ode to the country Hindustan Bharat, a land before the creation of Pakistan and Bangladesh. This ghazal became an anthem for the People of Hindustan and also a patriotic song. I chose this name for the blog, because religion plays a big role in every persons life, even in the life of non-believers. And in Hindustan there are multiple religions co-existing. We often hear the phrase 'mine is better' or 'mine is the best of the world' and this creates separation in the world. I use the phrase 'Sare Jahan Se Accha', the best in the whole world, to unite all the religions. Choose your path and see more similarities in each religion.
