Episode 3: 001 | Squid Game

THE GAME

Before the players participate in the games they signed a contract with an interesting condition in favour of Player 456. All the player can vote to get out of the games, after every game, and the prize money will be split between the remaining players. Player 001 turns out to holds the end vote after the first game! This episode does end with a major cliffhanger, not in the way you think, very unexpected twist of events. 

This episode starts exiting with player 456 back in the game! We are introduced to a lot of new characters. Player 390 the childhood friend of player 456 is back. The amazing mother - son duo player 007 and player 149. Player 388 is the cute boy with a military background. Player 333 and 222 turn out to have a history. Letting player 222 participate in the state she is, is very sadistic. A very good and surprising character is player 120. Player 044 the Sjaman is a good addition to the games. Player 246 turns out to have his own side story going on without him even knowing. Let's just say, someone might have his back in the game. 

There are a lot of new characters in the Squid Game. The makers of Squid Game did a really good job in casting the players. Turns out the actor who played Player 120 got a lot of backlash, undeserved. Because it turns out there were no 'openly' actors in South-Korea who would and could play the role. His role was very good executed by him. The most interesting character on the show is THANOS the rapper. His childish like behaviour stole the show. Till the end he had a complex character. Is he a bad guy or just a good scared person put in a conflicted situation. This character has so much potential. Amazing casting and writing by the makers of Squid Game. 

PLAN B

The players are starting of with the familiar game Red Light, Green Light (Mugumghwa-Kkochi Pieossseubnida). Player 456 is there to make sure less people die and they know the consequences of the game. Turns out people don't really listen in chaos! He did got a lot of players over the finish line with a synch like dance. Óh yes, his Plan B did not really work, turns out the Front Man is smarter than he thought. In the side stories you can see agent Hwang Jun-ho (Wi Ha-joon) trying to track Seong Gi-hun, with no result. He uses the help of the hired soldiers, the right hand of Gi-hun's creditor and the captain who found him at sea after his big brother (The Front Man) shot him. I am convinced that Gi-hun should never lead with a plan he made. 

RESULT

After the first game the results are 456 player minus 91 players = 365 players left

That's 9,1 Won in the Big Piggy
