Review: IT WAS BADASS
Exterritorial is a good mystery thriller and action movie. It is a well written movie with a good introduction and plot. Some scenarios are far fetched but it does not take away that the movie is well executed and has a good storyline. The bound between the mother and son is present through the whole movie. You can see that being the drive for the main character. The interaction between Jeanne and Lera was fun to watch. It was like a tough soldier and a clever tech girl dynamic. The one take camera angles during action scenes was really exiting to watch. Everyone commenting that it is impossible for a woman with the body of Jeanne to knockout big men must calm down, because we have seen men KO'ing an army of people which is out of proportion. The language switch in the movie from Deutsch to English is good to follow. The way the ending of this movie came to a conclusion was a bit unrealistic and romanticised. That part could have been a bit better.
READ MORE FOR A VERDICT

Exterritorial is marked as an action, mystery and thriller movie. This movie checks all the boxes with its storyline. It is a well written movie with a balance of action, emotion and storytelling in it. The introduction of the mother and son bound is done beautifully. They choose the most cutest boy to play Josh in this movie. Everybody would be compelled to fight the consulate to find this cute chubby face. The background of Sara with her War experience is woven perfectly into the story, revealing bits and pieces till the end of the movie to give the storyline more context.

When Sara met Kira, that duo was just fun to watch. You have the tough fighter Sara and the cunningly, clever tech girl Kira working together and powering each other up! I must say they did the character of Sergeant Donovan wrong. He was a good addition, but the execution of the character was just not it. Every step in his execution I could see the written screenplay.

The action scenes are sometimes unrealistic such as climbing the building from the windows, fighting two men, falling from a hight and just carrying on with the quest of finding your son. But to be fair IT WAS BADASS! During the fight with the two men, Sara had her moment to recover and that was amazing. Kira using her brain and skills to win some battles was close to her character. These two actors could make a franchise of their bond.

LE PAANCH SITARE
This movie had only beautiful looking people. I liked the storyline, there were no unnecessary scenes. Some scenarios in the storyline where unrealistic such as the way the perpetrator got exposed. That part could have been written better.
Other then that the action, mystery and storytelling were good.
Le Paanch Sitare gives 3,5 Sitare for Exterritorial
(3,5 out of 5 stars)
